Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly Fairy Wings

These unique wings were part of a challenge we were given by a friend to make a 'Tiger Fairy' costume.. while the costume was sold (to simply be a Tiger for a play) the wings remain.

These wings are unique and definently EYE-Catching (pun intended)

They are white, sheer and sparkling organza with orange and black airbrushing to resemble tiger fur. They feature glittery black stripes on BOTH sides, every last stripe shimmers and shines in any lighting and from any angle. The wings also have glittery tiger's eyes on the back resembling real tiger eyes as well as the mock-eyes you see on the backs of real butterflies. The eyes are several shades of glitter with swarovski rhinestone accents. A sprinkling of additional crystals adorn both sides around the edges.

The center of these wings feature poseable antennae in none other than orange and black tiger-stripes! You can curl, kink, bend or twist them however you please! The base has matching dangling ribbons for a fluttering effect and is covered in furry black maribou adding to the Tiger feel.

These wings are bound to get you noticed and were such a fun project to work on. They have an amazing sparkle that can only be truly appreciated in person, as the camera cannot capture it.
